Siblings Nolan and Emily raised $80 for the organization by selling lemonade and hand-painted ladybug rocks in their neighborhood. The nonprofit helps people who are homeless or in danger of becoming homeless.

The economic development center, part of Grace Hill Settlement House, has moved to a new location at 6722 Page Ave. It provides programs and services that encourage microbusiness development for women, and its new home was funded in part by a grant from The Collective Impact Network.

During a recent 24-hour matching gifts campaign, the organization raised more than $160,000 to support children and families navigating divorce or separation. The money will be used to provide counseling sessions.


boys & girls clubs of greater st. louis

The organization broke ground on a more than 26,000-square-foot Teen Center of Excellence in Ferguson, which will offer after-school and summer programs for kids ages 12 to 18. It’s being billed as the first of its kind in the nation and will have a nutrition education center, outdoor garden, gym, auditorium, music and art studio, and more.
