The Greater St. Louis Art Association presents its three-day, indoor, climate-controlled art fair at Queeny Park’s Greensfelder Recreation Center. Now in in its 42nd year, the fair features 130 juried artists from 20 states and a wide variety of works including prints, ceramics, photography, jewelry, glass, sculpture, painting and more. Artwork is available for purchase, families can enjoy a variety of fun activities, and the event features live music, food and wine.
Now in its 24th year, the Big Muddy Blues Festival presents a variety of soul, R&B, rock, gospel and jazz acts on Laclede’s Landing. The festival features several hours of world-class musical entertainment with the Mississippi River as a backdrop. Acts include The Fab Foehners, Jeremiah Johnson, David Dee, Uvee Hayes, Big George Brock and others.
Aisha and Ameena Sultan present a morning of beauty, mixing and mingling, fashion, light bites, coffee, mimosas and cosmetic giveaways. Fox 2’s Jasmine Huda is celebrity host. The event raises funds for journalism scholarships for area students.
