Boardroom-Dr.-Julie-SperryCharacterPlus has elected Dr. Julie Sperry (pictured) as its new executive director. Sperry previously served as director of the Regional Professional Development Center and has held numerous roles throughout her 28-year career in education. The organization also announced the appointment of Dr. M. Jean Russell as director of development.

Paul Reigelsberger has joined upscale plumbing studio Immerse as general manager and will focus on showroom and operations management. Reigelsberger previously worked with retail brands Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams and Thomasville.

Education nonprofit Access Academies welcomes new principal Mary Loux (pictured) to St. Cecilia School & Academy. The non-tuition based school for kindergarten through eighth-grade students in south St. Louis receives support from Access, which also announced new board leadership: Marian Mehan as chair and Tom Mackowiak as vice chair.

David Kutchback is officially the new president and CEO of MERS/Goodwill. He took over the position in an interim role last year after serving the company in various capacities for the last 38 years.

Ron Van Fleet has been appointed development director for Miriam: The Learning Disability Experts. He brings more than 20 years of development and fundraising experience to the position, having worked in similar capacities at Webster University and Washington University.

Crown Center for Senior Living, a nonprofit agency that provides affordable housing and services to seniors, has announced new board officers: Keith Cohen as president, Sally Altman as vice president, Todd Goldenhersh as treasurer, Darryl Sagel as assistant treasurer and Bethe Growe as secretary.
