Get Ignited: Monica Black Robinson

I love the Dos Equis “Most Interesting Man in the World” campaign. The ads always end with the tagline, “Stay thirsty, my friend.” That’s something Monica Black Robinson understands. Her thirst for life is why she is one of the most interesting women in my world. On any given day, Monica might be hopping on a plane to consult with Princeton University or heading to Yale to lead a workshop. She might be delivering etiquette training to aspiring young professionals or to a troop of local Girl Scouts. She loves her work as a career development specialist at Washington University, and she also loves giving back through the celebrated Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and serving as associate president of Jack and Jill of America, an organization dedicated to nurturing future leaders. But, her most beloved role of all is being “Mom” to the vocal talent Brianna Elise Brown. Cheers to Monica and her thirst for leading, learning and making a positive impact.
