Town&Style

Guide: Restaurants

From the beginning of this crisis, Town&Style has strived to be a source of good news, helpful information and positivity. We represent a community of individuals who look for ways to give back to those around them. With that in mind, we are continuously updating this post with how you can help our local restaurants. Together we are stronger.

PLEASE NOTE: COVID-19 information is constantly evolving, so please check an organization’s website for the absolute latest information.

Meals for Meds: Over two dozen local faves like Juniper, Knead Bakehouse, Mission Taco Joint and Pi Pizzeria are showing their appreciation for those on the front line of fighting the new coronavirus. This program provides meals for health care professionals while supporting local restaurants. Donations go directly to the restaurant of your choice, which then uses the money to create meals for hospital workers who can place orders free of charge. UPDATE: After rapid growth, Meals for Meds began a partnership with Frontline Foods, a nationwide nonprofit that is part of an effort by celebrity chef Jose Andres and his World Central Kitchen. This new program now offers tax exempt donations and pays restaurants for every meal delivered. Visit frontlinefoods.org/st-louis for a full list of participating restaurants and to donate.

Ces and Judy’s Catering is proud to announce the opening of Ces & Judy’s Kitchen Door, a no-contact pickup and delivery meal program. With a menu changing weekly, orders can be placed for next-day home delivery (no-contact drop off within 10 miles of Frontenac) or pickup at Ces & Judy’s at 10440 German Blvd. in Frontenac. New menu options, along with soft drinks, beer, wine and liquor, will be available online each weekend at https://cesandjudys.com/kitchen-door/ with pickup or delivery available Tuesday through Saturday. The company kicked off a wonderful domino effect by donating meals to the Frontenac Police Department, the Frontenac Fire Department and Mercy Hospital, and began receiving a wave of phone calls with people wanting to do the same. Anyone wishing to donate can contribute $10 for a single meal or join with friends and arrange for a hot meal to be delivered to a team of any size.
