Hundreds of men donned red high heels and paraded down Washington Avenue in support of an end to domestic and sexual violence. St. Louis Blues president Chris Zimmerman (pictured at top, leading the walk) served as event co-chair.

Local artist Ron Isom celebrated his 80th birthday with a show at the gallery. The exhibit included his Old Testament series and a collection titled Serendipitous Images.

The hotel’s Saturday afternoon teas went pink last month. In honor of breast cancer awareness, it hosted four Pink Ribbon Teas. Net proceeds from the events went to Gateway to Hope, a local organization that supports women battling the disease.

The organization recently held its annual international conference in St. Louis. Recipients of the Trailblazer Award were recognized for their commitment to preventing child abuse and neglect at a ceremony at the Museum at the Gateway Arch.
