Fontbonne University appointed Peter Smith, R.N., director of its new bachelor’s degree program in nursing, scheduled to launch this fall. He comes to the post from the Veterans Administration St. Louis health care system, where he served as patient aligned care team coordinator.


Valley Insurance Agency Alliance has named Josh Coffman alliance coordinator. He will manage technology, system processing and analytic programming for the organization’s members. He formerly worked as an automation specialist in IT and business management. The organization also named Denise Wilkerson a personal lines specialist. She previously worked as an insurance retention specialist and holds a property and casualty license in 13 states.


Veteran TV anchor Art Holliday has been chosen as news director for 5 On Your Side. He became interim news director at the end of 2020 and was chosen for the permanent role after a nationwide search. Holliday has been with the station since 1979 and most recently co-anchored the 4 p.m. news broadcast.


Pier Alsup has been named Together Credit Union’s first chief diversity, equity and inclusion officer. She is responsible for leading efforts to maintain an equitable work environment where diversity is a priority. Alsup has been with the organization, formerly known as Anheuser-Busch Employees’ Credit Union, for more than three decades. She also leads its Diversity & Inclusion Council and sponsors its Employee Resource Groups.


Operation Food Search recently named a new board chair, Alan Schultz. He will work with the hunger relief nonprofit’s leadership to provide strategic direction and support. Schultz currently serves as head of North American project procurement for Bayer.


CNB St. Louis Bank has promoted Michelle Haley to executive vice president. She will continue as chief financial officer, a post she has held since 2012. Haley also is chair of the bank’s funds management committee and a member of its governing board.


Mandy Sybrandy is now vice president of attractions and company officer for St. Louis-based Koch Development and its SkyWheel attractions in Florida and South Carolina. She has worked for the commercial real estate and entertainment property developer since 2012.
