Infectious Confections

I must admit I have a love affair with jewelry. But I’m a fickle lover: diamonds, pearls, emeralds, rubies…I love them all, at different times. For months all I can think about is chunky Italian yellow gold and then, suddenly, all I want are glittering white diamonds and spun platinum. You see, I can’t settle on just one gem or metal, nor can I dedicate one finger to one ring. (With the exception of my wedding ring, that is.) Like candy—sparkling, tempting, juicy candy—jewelry is its own form of delicious pleasure.
