in the cellar | Winslow’s Table has expanded its retail selection! Located in a former private event space, The Cellar Shop offers a selection of artisan goods like wine and spirits, fine food, beauty and home goods. The shop’s team also can curate gifts baskets and picnic spreads for customers. As part of the space’s new look, shelving designed by Henley Forge was added to tie into the original doors to the boiler room and bakery.

Local chicken restaurant Chicken Out has partnered with Narrow Gauge Brewery and The Wine and Cheese Place to develop Chicken Out Pils, a fruit forward German-style lager crafted to be enjoyed with fried chicken. The beer is available at all Chicken Out and The Wine and Cheese Place locations. … Schlafly Beer and STL Barkeep have teamed up to bring a beer and cocktail garden to Tower Grove Park. Fridays and Saturdays through October, visitors to the park’s Ruins Pond can enjoy a variety of Schlafly beers, rotating cocktails, food truck fare, live music, yard games and more. A portion of beer and cocktail proceeds will benefit the park.

Bar Louie has launched a new cocktail as part of its year-round giveback program, Cocktails for a Cause. Through July 5, for every Wild Berry Margarita sold, the restaurant will donate $1 to Children of Restaurant Employees (CORE), a nonprofit that helps foodservice families during qualifying crises. … 1220 Artisan Spirits has expanded its Encrypted Vodka Line with the new flavors Lemonade Lavender and Balaton Cherry & Persian Lime. The botanically-inspired distillery based the flavors off of two of its most popular canned cocktails. The vodkas are available for purchase at 4 Hands Brewing Co.

Nippon Tei will get a new name and location on The Hill later this year. The sushi restaurant, which is owned by Nick Bognar of indo and his parents, will evolve into Sado. Named after a traditional Japanese tea ceremony, the new concept will feature classics from Nippon Tei’s menu along with an expanded experience that includes a large sushi bar and lounge. Nippon Tei will continue operating at its current location in Ballwin until this fall.
