St. Louis popped up on a recent Healthgrades list of cities that are “getting healthcare right.” The Lou ranked 63rd in the U.S. based on access to care, population health, hospital quality and availability of local specialists. Rochester, Minnesota, came in at No. 1, and Kansas City (No. 43) was the only other Missouri city to make the list.

Andrew Cuneo will be the featured soloist at the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra’s world premiere of composer Christopher Rouse’s Bassoon Concerto Nov. 16 and 17. Works by Samuel Barber and Aaron Copland will be on the program as well.
