Historic Sappington Park is celebrating America’s 250th birthday with a special fall festival. Saint Louis University is out of this world—literally! Students will design and send a science experiment to the International Space Station as part of Mission 22 of the Student Spaceflight Experiments Program. Teams will compete to design a microgravity experiment that fits the real-world engineering and technology constraints of flight operations to and from Low Earth Orbit. SLU’s experiment will be flown to the International Space Station in summer 2027.
