The restored GRAND HALL at St. Louis Union Station Hotel opened May 10. The space, which will be used as an event venue, features the Grand Hall Market, a snack and coffee shop, plus a brand-new bar.

It’s only fitting that international chain CANTINA LAREDO launched its groundbreaking on Cinco de Mayo. Set to open Nov. 4 at 7710 Forsyth Blvd. in Centene Plaza, its menu will feature upscale entrees, including seafood, and classic favorites like tacos and enchiladas.

Late-night Cherokee Street prowlers have a new way to indulge their cravings: with a slice of pizza from MASTER PIEZA. Pizza-maker WILL PORTER has sold his pies for several years at other restaurants, but 2846 Cherokee St. is all his own. Slices start at $2.99, whole pizzas at $12.99.

IVY MAGRUDER is taking over the dining services department at Saint Louis Art Museum, which means he’s replacing Edward Farrow as chef of PANORAMA. Magruder recently held the title executive chef at Gamlin Restaurant Group; before that, he was longtime general manager at Vin de Set.

RUTH’S CHRIS in Clayton welcomes new executive chef BRENT MORRISON, as well as a new “Sizzle, Swizzle & Swirl Happy Hour” featuring $8 food and cocktail specials.

Restaurateur SATISH KUMAR of House of India has taken on a sandwich franchise, WHICH WICH, at 6662 Delmar Blvd. in the Loop. Customers mark their sandwich stuffing selections on paper bags, which employees then use to wrap the hot subs.
