What have you enjoyed about the neighborhood?
We love the neighborhood. We have two dogs and young children, and it was beautiful to walk around. It’s also very friendly; we got to meet so many of our neighbors just by being out and about. It’s a peaceful and scenic area that feels very friendly. My son loved getting to walk to the park and play there.
Tell me about the outdoor spaces.
I love the pool area. We enjoyed chilling out there, and the kids loved having friends over. There’s also a grassy area, so there’s room for them to play. We enjoyed many dinners on the patio or just sitting out watching the sun rise or set. The outdoor spaces are great for families to have fun together and make some amazing memories.
How is the home for entertaining?
It’s great for having company—whether you’re entertaining adults or kids. There are so many beautiful areas, like the bar, formal dining room, patio or hearth room. The basement also is wonderful for playing games and having fun. There are lots of different spots within the house, so you can entertain collectively or people can do their own thing in their own space if they want.
What are some of your favorite features?
The home gets a lot of natural light, which is something I particularly love about it. Even in winter when you can’t spend a lot of time outdoors, you get the feeling of thanks to the windows and sunlight. The hearth room is one of my favorite spaces because there is so much light.
Any other favorite rooms?
I love a lot of different areas in the house. We renovated the primary bathroom. It’s the perfect space to relax and take care of yourself. The kitchen is beautiful, and I really enjoyed getting to cook in there with my daughter. The main living space has beautiful views of the outdoor areas. You look out at the greenery, and it’s just so beautiful—it’s like you’ve been transported somewhere else.
What would you like the next homeowner to know?
We created so many great memories and had a lot of fun here. My family is abroad, and we relocated from another state, so it meant a lot to have a place that felt like home. This house did that for me and my family. We’d love for another family to enjoy it now.
