Since 1990, the Alliance has achieved numerous successes protecting animals from abuse and neglect. A major accomplishment by the Alliance has been the closing of more than 1,200 puppy mills in Missouri. The “Open Your Heart” gala is a significant source of funding for the Alliance’s advocacy work on behalf of the animals.
