Eckert’s St. Louis Seasonal Market is now open at 79 Nationalway Shopping Center in Manchester. Through August, shoppers can peruse a selection of homegrown produce, baked goods, jams, cheeses, meats and more. To keep everyone safe, the market has introduced new guidelines, including social distancing, masks for team members and plexiglass at all cashier stations.

The team behind Yellowbelly and Retreat Gastropub is bringing a new cocktail bar to the CWE.  Lazy Tiger will open at  210 N. Euclid Ave., which  previously housed the private event space The Hideout. The bar will offer a mix of traditional and experimental cocktails as well as a menu of small bites and shareable plates. … South City also is getting a new watering hole soon! Located at 3707 S. Kingshighway, The Golden Hoosier will offer a unique atmosphere, including a “campground” with fire pits and an upstairs lounge. Did we mention the taxidermied possum?

Urban Chestnut’s STL Zoo Bier Kölsch is back. Last year, sales of the seasonal release raised more than $5,000 to support the Saint Louis Zoo’s animal care and conservation work. … Several local breweries are participating in Black is Beautiful, a campaign started by Weathered Souls Brewing Co. in San Antonio to promote inclusivity and draw attention to racial injustice. Participating breweries put their own spin on the provided base stout recipe and label design. Look out for varieties from Earthbound Beer, Perennial Artisan Ales, Wellspent Brewing Co., 2nd Shift Brewing, 4 Hands Brewing Co. and Main & Mill Brewing Company.

Chao Baan in The Grove is celebrating its first anniversary with a special Thai-inspired cocktail menu with a charitable twist. Created in partnership with five local beverage directors and mixologists, each drink benefits a nonprofit chosen by its creator. The anniversary menu is available through September.
