[WHY] To support Danis Pediatric Center at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital. Danis Pediatrics provides outpatient pediatric primary care services for children, newborn to 18 years of age, regardless of the family’s ability to pay. Originally designed to accommodate 5,000 patient visits annually, Danis Pediatrics has grown into two locations in St. Louis and now home to more than 22,000 patient visits every year. They provide services from well-baby visits to checkups and physicals along with diagnostic services and second opinions for complex cases referred by community pediatricians and family practitioners. Additional services and specialty programs offered are FACES International Adoption and Refugee Clinic, Fostering Healthy Children, Parenting Programs and Reach Out and Read to improve child literacy.
