McAllister was honored for his work to find a cure for the potentially fatal brain condition, which affects more than 1 million Americans.

insider-WAHLDr. Richard Wahl, director of W.U.’s Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology, has been elected to the National Academy of Medicine, one of the highest honors in health and medicine. A graduate of W.U. School of Medicine, Wahl is one of the first to use ‘precision medicine’ approaches for human cancer treatment. He holds 18 radiology patents and has published more than 400 scientific manuscripts.
