Pioneer Athletics announced Kirkwood School District has been named a winner of the 2013 Fields of Excellence Award and will receive a certificate of recognition and a Fields of Excellence banner to display.

Stray Rescue announced it will partner with Nature’s Variety to provide thousands of pounds of nutritious dog and cat food each month to feed animals at the shelter. Both organizations work to help homeless, adoptable companion animals in the St. Louis region and beyond.

Six First Bank employees served as cashiers during The Little Bit Foundation’s annual Music Trivia fundraising event at Whitfield School. The event raised more than $44,000 for the nonprofit.
