Sign of the Arrow, a nonprofit needlepoint and specialty gift shop, awarded 17 grants to St. Louis-area agencies at its 46th annual philanthropy brunch. Since its inception in 1966, the store has donated more than $3.5 million to local charities.

Castlewood Treatment Center raised more than $30,000 at its inaugural charity golf tournament. Proceeds benefit Project HEAL, a nonprofit that provides grants for people with eating disorders who cannot afford treatment.
