Nearly 400 guests enjoyed signature cocktails, bites from some of St. Louis’ best restaurants, and an exciting purse and shoe raffle at the Humane Society of Missouri’s ninth annual Purses & Pumps for Pooches & Pals. More than $70,000 was raised for the Animal Cruelty Fund, dedicated to investigating, healing and preventing animal abuse and neglect.

More than 220 golfers played on two 18-hole courses at the Country Club of St. Albans and participated in a silent auction benefiting Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis. The event raised close to $250,000, and since the annual event began 14 years ago, more than $2.25 million has been raised.
