A truly inspiring event takes place May 1 when Lift for Life Academy’s sixth annual Celebrating Success Fashion Show comes to The Ritz-Carlton. The city’s first independent charter school, Lift for Life Academy started with faith and a great idea. Now the remarkable facility includes a fashion component for kids with design talent but limited resources to make their dreams come true. The annual show presents original designs from students, a chance to meet and chat with them, and a luncheon and silent auction that raises funds to benefit the program.
