Do you have a favorite room?
The sunroom has eight windows, and there is amazing lighting at all times of day. It’s beautiful and cozy—the perfect place to sit and read with a cup of tea for a while. It’s also a great place to sit and visit with friends.
What are the outdoor spaces like?
The backyard is our other favorite room! We were deciding whether to redo the basement or yard, then COVID made the decision for us. There’s a 2,000-square-foot patio and a gazebo with a built-in kitchen, featuring a granite island, a double gas burner, Blaze gas grill and EVO flat top grill. We also have a fire pit. It’s the perfect place for people to gather. The landscaping also is amazing. We have more than 45 trees, including some beautiful magnolias.
How is the home for entertaining?
We did quite a lot of entertaining—almost every week we had people over. The media room is a great place to gather, and it’s got a built-in sound system. It’s also a nice place for kids to hang out and can easily hold around 20 people. The gourmet kitchen has a quartz island for people to gather around, and for overnight visitors, the guest bedrooms are all large and have walk-in closets. It really is a party house where you can host people both inside and out.
