city of kirkwood  | The Kirkwood City Council has appointed Darren Lamb as the city’s new chief administrative officer. Lamb brings nearly three decades of experience in local government, including serving the City of Washington, Missouri, since 1998. “Kirkwood is a community steeped in tradition, with a future defined by opportunity and thoughtful growth,” he says. “I look forward to working with the City Council, staff and residents to continue delivering high-quality services and supporting the community’s goals.”

The law firm has added Katherine Utz Hunter as a member, Lewis Rice’s equivalent to a partner. Utz Hunter focuses her practice on Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA) compliance and the design and administration of employee benefit programs, including retirement and health and welfare plans. Lewis Rice has also welcomed Tyler Maetten as an associate. Maetten represents clients in high-stakes commercial and class action litigation, as well as complex insurance matters. He previously practiced in insurance defense and also has experience in federal agency work and civil litigation.

Jane Kaiser has taken the helm at the nonprofit as its president and CEO. Kaiser has served in the role on an interim basis since October 2025. Retired from executive leadership, she brings more than 40 years of experience across multiple industries, including roles with Coopers & Lybrand, Kimberly-Clark and Bayer Crop Science. She earned a degree in accounting from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and holds an MBA from Oklahoma State University.

The health care system has named Mark Mo Moir as its senior vice president and chief people officer. Moir brings decades of human resources experience. He most recently served as vice president of talent at Mercy and previously held the position of vice president of people and culture at Centura Health as well as holding leadership positions at Kaiser Permanente and Sanford Health. He holds a bachelor’s and MBA from University of South Dakota and a Ph.D. in leadership and organizational change from Antioch University.
