Family Resource Center raised $334,000 at its fundraising event, From Darkness to Light. The funds will be used to provide therapy for abused children, foster care for kids who can’t remain safely in their homes, and parenting education and counseling for families at risk for abuse.

More than 50 area corporate and community leaders served as reading ambassadors in 47 Saint Louis Public Schools for the GO! St. Louis Read, Right & Run Marathon. The six-month program challenges students in kindergarten through fifth grade to read 26 books, right the community with 26 deeds and run 26 miles.

Construction is complete on St. Anthony’s Emergency Department. The renovation includes flexible triage rooms, an EMS and Patient Flow Communications Center, and the front desk, all designed to reduce wait times.
